Poem: The Whiteness Of Toilet Paper

The entire city
reeks of
hand sanitizer
and fear

The boomers
are moving
faster than ever

To rectify
the many mistakes
of the past
by purchasing
every single
roll of toilet paper

Yet I still
refuse
to take this
seriously

After all
the same media
propagating
the coronavirus
are the same ones
who refuse
to acknowledge
white genocide

Besides
I know people
from Pittsburgh
to Austria
and nobody knows
any infected

Either way
they're shutting down
the schools
and the woman's gym

Some are more
concerned
with putting on
weight
than actually
contracting
the virus

Not me

I'll continue my days
amongst the
pandemonium
frugally wiping
my asshole
and doing push-ups

Throwing up
sanitized
Roman salutes
as I wait it out
and listen to
the media
obsess over
sickness and
whiteness (toilet paper)

Same old shit
though a new
approach
may be needed
to clean up
the mess
